The poster for the Linux Install-Fest event is out..

Ever been curious about Linux? Tired of Windows or OSX? Come out and learn about Linux and “free” your computer!
The Queen’s/Kingston Linux User Group is hosting an Install-Fest event. The idea of the event is for experienced Linux users to teach and introduce new users into the wonderful world of Linux.
Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop (even better if its old, “broken” — think blue screen of death, or simply too slow to use). You don’t have to make any changes to your computer if you don’t want (Linux has this great feature of being able to try it out without changing anything!). You’re also welcome to just come out and watch.
TL;DR
Linux
Free Food
Prizes (from Red Hat/Fedora)
No Commitment
The group’s events are the main value it delivers to its members and the larger Queen’s and Kingston communities.
Linux Users Group’s events has traditionally included Install Fests, so we might look into organizing one of those. However, we are open to all sorts of ideas for what we can and should do for our members and larger communities.
Be sure to attend our meetings and suggest your event ideas so we can make them a reality.
