In a city like Kingston, with two colleges and a research-intensive university, the only missing bit is a Linux Users Group!

This website is the beginning of a community of open-source enthusiasts in the Kingston area. If you feel you may enjoy the company of folks with interest in any type of open-source software or hardware, then we already have a common interest. Help us start this community up.

Despite the name, open-source culture has produced much more than just Linux, or more than just whole operating systems for that matter. So don’t let the (tentative) name fool you, we are all about all things open-source. For a list of a rather lengthy, but by no means exhaustive, list of all sorts of interesting open-source projects, check out the titles of the FLOSS Weekly podcast.
